Pat, I'd guess that we are looking at a two-track tunnel, the right hand one being abandoned. How cool to walk the unused one while a train is passing on the parallel track. John

I'd like to know more about that photo as well. I've seen that tunnel in other photographs and seem to recall it was once part of a commuter rail operation somewhere in the northeast. That tells us barely more than nothing but it's all I got for now.

I'm not sure it ever was a building. google maps tells me i was at 40.738928, -80.318522 when i took it.
The little girl and her grandfather just came through the tunnel and the train is on it's way to the bridge.
