The 4x4 road from the north to reach Cathedral Valley from I-70 was not too bad, though pretty long. I made it in our 4x4 6 Cyl Toyota Rav.
This image was captured at one of the last really good photo stops before beginning the descent into Cathedral Valley. Took my breath away.

Beautiful shot. I have been there. One of the few, I believe. It is the only National Park I have visited where you are unlikely to see anyone else for hours. I hope you post some shots of the loop road through the valley. It's at the very top of the list of all the places I have visited in my lifetime.

Thanks for4 the invitation- I do have a few that you might enjoy. We spent the first night camping at the overlook, the second night in the valley next to Temple of the Sun.

Big Bend National Park in Texas enjoys the distinction of being the least visited national park in America. We hope to keep it that way. Please do not Californicate it!
