A busy weekend starting tomorrow so will post some miniatures tonight. Not a very creative set up, but gives an idea of size. My mother loved to hand sew teeny tiny things. She made the bears and Dad made the benches for the bear family to sit upon. The bears are very intricate and require lots of imperceptible stitches. The ruby souvenir "mug" on the right, 1901, belonged to one of my grandmothers. I'm not 100% sure but I think it came from Niagara Falls. Her name was Winifred St. Louis but this didn't come from St. Louis. The teeny tiny glass animal on the left is a "hamster according to the young Russian child who gave it to me. The white glass on either side of his head represent filled pouches.
