Say Tim you seem to be up and up on the older models. Do you remember the car that had the back window go up or down electrically. Was it the Mercury Monterey?? Never seen models of this vehicle.

Yep, that would have been a '63-'68 Mercury Monterey Breezeway.
Interestingly, during the last two years of production, the rear window
only lowered 2", unlike the previous years, where the rear window
could be lowered completely.
The "roar" of lowering it the whole way made Ford Motor Company redesign
the functionality of the '67 & '68 models so that it only went down 2", which
gave great air circulation without all the reverberation of the previous models.
Keep in mind, this was before air conditioning became affordable, functional
and popular.
Now, let me tell you how ineffective the cowl vent on my '62 Vette was....LOL

thanks Tim, I thought you might know this, and now I remember the later models would only go down 2 inches. Being you have a model of the Edsel, we only seem to collect the ones that intrigue us the most or have had. thanks again.

Pg. 21 - Love, love, love the trees, Karin.
My mom was very "crafty," and she use to make trees out
of bare copper wire. She'd spend days making one tree,
typically one to two feet high.
thanks much Tim, sounds lovely what your mom created.
