View from the very top of the hike beyond Cassidy Arch, where one can still see the valley

The hike goes little bit higher to a view of the opposite direction where a magnificent valley is bordered on the other side by spectacular white mountains.

I wanted to show the elevation of the hike and view, which this image seems to do well.

What a wonderful shot. This is my own opinion and I don't mean to be critical but if it was mine I would clone out the road and bridge, take it to Costco and have it printed to at least 20x24, frame it and hang in right above my computer monitor to remind myself what a landscape should be.

From the photo, it seems as if it was worth the trip.

Even though the light is a little, flat, I think it complements the scenery very nicely, showing us a lot of detail and color. Great view and treatment (and I'm OK with the road, which helps scale both the scenery and your accomplishment!).

Interesting. When I was looking at the image considering your suggestion, my wife came and suggested the same adjustment! Take a guess whether I'll clone it out or not.

I definitely could have used a little shadow, but at least it wasn't glaringly bright. As my wife likes to say, "You git what you git, and you don't throw a fit!" Speaking of my wife and the road clone suggestion. Take a look at my comment above.

Wow, I looked it up. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/utah/cassidy-arch-trail The hike to Cassidy Arch is, well, really a hike. It is just under three miles, one way, but with seven rappels, according to the AllTrails website. I curious what photography equipment you brought, and how you carried.

OMG. Holy Caramba. No my wife would never do that, I might if I had the proper companions. I looked up the link. What they give you is the rappel down through the arch to the bottom of the canyon, not the fairly tame, moderately easy hike up. I didn't even want to get too close to the edge of the arch.

I would not. It’s there; it’s reality.
