He was living rough and showing up around our house every few months before last winter when I finally got him to let us near him. For the longest time we had no idea what gender he/she was b/c Dougal wouldn't permit any sort of examination. We were finally able to determine that he is a neutered male which means he had a home at some point which is why he has been able to adapt so well to living here. He's a very nice cat and my husband really likes him so it's win-win on all counts except for Miss Tubby who still can't stand having competition in "her" house!

I love working with feral cats.
This is Obie. I trapped/neutered him last Spring and am now working on petting him. He follows me *everywhere*, talking constantly and rolling on his back.
I can only love on him if I offer kitty treats first. Then he allows it. He raises his rump and pushes into my hand as I scratch and rub on him, clearly enjoying the sensation.
He just won’t ever admit it!

So good that Obie is finally becoming friends and thank you for taking care of him. He is very handsome
