"Anti-v**xers"? For good reasons people don't want to give the MMR v*****e to their child.

As children we all had chicken pox, mumps, rubella and measles. It was never a big deal.

There is no such thing as a coincidence. As the MMR v*****e was more widely used up went the cases of autism - a steep rise. Autism was nearly unheard of before the MMR v*****e.

There's a lot of info in this article including flaws of the MMR v*****e.

This page has a list of 14 studies used to claim v*****es don't cause autism and conflicts of interest are shown in who funds them among other things.

You should look up statistics on these diseases. They weren't any big deal to most of us. Those k**led by them aren't here to argue with you. Don't confuse correlation with cause.

I am confusing nothing. How many children's lives are affected by autism? Why are people so willing to cede these decisions to government? Children have always died from these diseases. They've also died in car accidents. Let's ban them from riding in cars too.

In fact why don't we let government make ALL decisions for our children because they know better than parents, would never mislead us and pharmaceutical companies would certainly never lie or put profits first...

How about instead of banning children from cars we.....make parents put them in car seats.
Or are you against them as well?

They still die in car seats. Ban them from cars altogether to stop them from dying in cars.

Babies die in their cribs.

You want to ban cribs too?

Yes. I'm being silly but in all seriousness where do we draw the line at government encroachment?

Excellent question.

There is a line that shouldn't be crossed, but, I fear we will only recognize it after "we've" crossed it.

Remember.....Experience is what you get right AFTER you need it.

Couldn't agree more. I'm not against v******tions per se but I don't trust big pharma or government agencies to give us full disclosure.

You know the parable of the boiling frog. The water is getting warmer.
