Since that posting I have bought an Epson Perfection V600 Photo/ Slide/ Negative Scanner and rescanned all these negatives using VewScan Software; however, I haven't done much more than that..

The subject is not sharp ... the background etc can be fixed but this super grainy, soft-focus just doesn't work.

I sharpened a bit, Used DeNoise AI, Replaced the background with Photoshop, and used Portrait Studio Pro (Smart Photo Editor) to add some filters.

Hi ... I used Photoshop to replace the background with a solid color from the orig pic. Then I used an embedded filter DeNoise AI to remove some grain and sharpen it. Last I used another embedded program to add some filters .. Anthropics Smart Photo Editor.
