OK so with a little embarrassment finally decided to post my attempts at the 2019 Super Blood Wolf Moon, as a contribution to the low light challenge, didn't get any of the "red" moon because of technical difficulties caused by the cold (5 degrees plus blustery wind) that affected everything...the tripod, the camera and my fingers! One thing for sure, was a great learning experience! First attempt at fully manual and these are just as shot! Used recommended Luny Rule f11, 100 and 1/100 some changed to f11, 200 and 1/200 and one somehow at f11, 100, 1/80...

Try walking up all those stairs - almost 70 of them!!

WHAT? No elevator??? ...LOL

I could handle that...maybe once or twice a day, but
probably not more than that...

I'll bet it would be stunning printed on one of those Fracture glass panels.

That's a great idea, Sue...truth be told, I'd love to
have a whole "Fracture" wall!

An excerpt from the DMC-FZ8 Operations Manual..Re Digital Zoom Capabilities.

The main reason I went with an interchangeable lens Canon was the more variable F/stops The Panasonic didn't go above F/8..And I wanted a few more Megapixels..

I had forgotten how they achieved such a long zoom...thanks
for sharing the instructions. Sure brought back memories.

Yes, I am still somewhat alive. I have missed all of you. Much of the time since the 2016 flood I have not been in a permanent place so had no internet. Like me I am sure that many wondered if my house would ever get finished and life "back to normal". They finished my house on 11/1. Two mornings later I walked into my kitchen and found that I was walking on water. After 6 weeks the leak was found and new flooring was ordered. So this week they have been changing out the flooring in the entire downstairs. It took forever to find the leak (and $1180) which was in the wall behind the refrigerator in a 1 inch brass fitting which was defective. So finally the insurance is paying for the flooring. Currently they are half finished with the new flooring.

I am trying to catch up on UHH and what is going on with you all. So good to see new folk and wonderful to see old friends. I hope you are all well and have had no disasters. My weatherman says it is cold in the upper part of our nation. We had frost this morning and it was/is cold to me. I have not photogrphed since the flood, but I hope to get something posted shortly. Love to each of you.

Elizabeth

Glad to see that you are still doing great golfing and greater photos. So sorry to hear that you have had to deal with heart problems. Hope there is no severe damage and you are all well.
