The focus is super sharp in all of them. And, I really like the reflection in the last pic!
Jason
Thanks Jason. I am not even one of the top five nature shooters in my local club, though in fairness they are all some of the best in Virginia. One thing I have had reinforced over and over again is that it has to be in focus to start.
Thanks for the comment! The shot before and after were not the same. Some times you have to rattle off a burst when they are moving to get the one frame you want. I likely will print this one. A pair of Anahingas were doing a LOT of beak gnashing but with all the background lower in the bush I did not find one I liked.
Great Set ....wish I were I Florida about Now........SNOWMAGEDON IS UPON US
It was beautiful down there. The sunset before I was at Bunche Beach near Ft Myers FL. 78 degrees. In surf shoes and trunks wading to capture the shore birds. The next night, after shooting these in the morning I landed at Dulles to 11 inches of snow that was still falling. OUCH. I need a head checkup.
"Beak crossed lovers" is superb from the composition to the tack sharp focus. But mainly because it tells a story, a story of this season: mating season. I think this would be so pretty as a card for Valentine's Day.
