Happened upon the 25th Anniversary of the Chateau Lake Louise Ice Sculpture contest. The artists medium is 300 pound ice blocks.

Outstanding shots and a wonderful subjects. Were you as close as it looks or did you zoom in on them? I have watched sand sculptures being developed and they would rope off the area to prevent people from getting too close.

Thanks. We were within 8 feet of the work, some sides were an arms length away.
