You recently asked whether we have BEs here. I saw one fly over last summer and understand there are some near the Russian River about an hour from where I live. I have yet to see them perched and in camera range, but I'll keep watching for them.
Thank you, Vicki, for your information. Bald Eagles are in all 50 states, but they are sometimes very hard to see. We have many here this time of year, but are only for 6 to 8 weeks, then they migrate elsewhere to find the spawning salmon to feed on. They are a beautiful bird to see and photograph, so I was wondering if you had a chance to see at least one Bald Eagle.
