Due to the lack of consistently cold weather in my corner of Wisconsin the snow and ice has been hard to find this year. I have got a few nice shots , as the water level falls on a cold night it creates abstract shapes in the ice.

I saw some nice ice yesterday, and if the sun comes out, I'm going back to take pictures. Right now, it's too cloudy and dark.

All these were done with a darker gray cloud cover ,I keep wishing for some great light along with some nice heavy snow that sticks to the trees instead they are saying 5 to 9 inches ,high winds for the next 24 than a deep freeze starting Sunday

I find gray days are preferable for ice. The glare and glitter are always blown out.
