Thank you. As I am a private citizen, not a candidate for the Presidency (as I stated in a prior post) I need not and will not release my tax returns to anyone unless compelled to do so by legitimate authority. I doubt that any members of UHH are such legitimate authorities.
When someone decides to run for the Presidency of the United States he or she must be aware of certain costs or obligations of that decision. Mr Trump seemingly wasn't cognizant of the long-standing practices of releasing a candidate's tax returns, and placing his or her assets in a blind trust. Or Mr Trump decided to ignore them.
The latter is more likely, considering Mr Trump's well-established record of flouting the conventions (and often the laws) of civil society.
Mr Trump now seems offended that many citizens are angry that he considers himself above the law. "P**********l harassment" indeed. Mr Trump may well find uncomfortable resonance in the catch-phrase of a bygone TV show: "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime." We can only hope that Mr Trump will come to an epiphany.

House Ways and means Committee is controlled by Dems (did you miss the mid-terms?). And Pelosi seems to have tighter control over her caucus than Ryan ever did.

This is petty small caliber stuff. As long as trump continues to openly defy the Speaker and threaten Congress, then the First Branch will, under Pelosi's leadership, at last find its spine. And that means that Trump's first term is essentially over.

Whitaker got an early taste of that yesterday. Trumpie clownish, dismissive and insulting behavior before Congress is only going to make Trump's deteriorating position worse. But the Trumpies are just too stupid to realize it.
