It is very common that apps which start out as free become paid apps if they get popular...
Automatic white balance doesn't work with my Nikon D700 for incandescent lighting. The incandescent icon on your white balance menu works pretty well. The best way is to find a white object such as paper or a napkin, take a photo in white balance mode in the current lighting of the room, and it will correct it completely. There is a bit of ritual in doing it and I have to experiment or look up how to do it, for I don't use it much. Look it up in your manual. You have to set it back to daylight or your next picture will be very blue, hopefully not a photo of Elvis, Hitler, and the Sasquatch in a quick group photo.
Somebody please tell me how to use PhotoShop to fix the image I just took
by a sodium vapor street lamp.
Roses are black, violets are gray and sugar is yellow.
In fact, everything is shades of gray and shades of yellow.
How to fix?
Gosh, do you suppose maybe lighting
is important to photography?
No, that can't be right, lighting is ANALOG and OLD TECHNOLOGY.
All you have to do is white balance--then "fix it in PhotoSlop" -- works every time!
