I forgot to post my ending I had prepared for the Merganser adventures.
After Drake admitted he was lost Hennie took the lead.
But she got lost also. She asked an elderly passing mallard for directions, but he made a pass at her. How was she to know he was a dirty old duck?
Drake came to the rescue and now they are once more side by side and enjoying the journey as they try to find their destination.

Drake is so humbled even his crest it laying down.

I didn't realise you were a photographer and a commentator. Good job on both counts!

34 years as a classroom teacher. That is a combination of stand up comedian, preacher, drill instructor, cop, counselor and narrator. With just a touch of Trail Drover thrown in.

Yes they are fun to watch. But I actually went to see the two Bufflehead pairs that have been at this park in winter for the last few years. Or the small flock of American Widgeons that have been there for three years. What I got was this pair of Hooded Mergansers.
Now if all three types would just show up together! And a park a few miles away got some Mandarins last year. One person got and posted shots of them. I would like to get a chance to photograph them also.
