Of course, very light indeed. I was being facetious. I haven’t hunted elephant but I have k**led Cape buffalo and other African animals. Some take a pretty large cartridge.

You're so right. That's why I always carry my AR 15 when I visit the zoo.

Frank I am taking your comment as a joke or you are not into hunting which is certainly acceptable. When I hunt African game my light rifle will be/was a 375 H&H. My rifle for the buffalo and other larger game was a 416 Rigby. It made a one shot k**l on the buffalo. Other choices if I ever go again would be a 450 NE or 470 NE, both double rifles.

I saw a video of families at a zoo. There were dangerous animals in this zoo that could easily tear children and their parents into little pieces. The only thing separating the families from this horrible danger was a wall of heavy steel mesh. If those parents only knew: "that walls don’t work".

Don’t forget....every zoo in the U.S. is a “No Gun” zone!

I doubt that is true. Any evidence to back it up?

Of course I am not talking about hunting the animals. But I haven’t seen anything at my local zoo regarding CCW holders.
