A study in modesty

Hi All This was done in the TRNP north section. The modesty and the oddity is last summer I was handed a small case which contained a nikon p530 camera and several accuterments for it. I decided to try it. On a monopod and seated on a walking stool took a 3 shots covering the scene before me. (in the distance somewhere in the river bends I was told Lewis and Clark camped briefly on their way west, the veracity of this I never established) When home I stitched the images with ICE. Then some PP and compositing of the horse and general cleanup. I was unexpectedly surprised at what I had. The p530 is an early iteration of the now p900 series.

I will be curious of any reaction of this venture. RBorud

Congratulations, looks like you created a very nice Landscape, with some extra effort to make it special. The Downloaded images made it extra nice.

Personally I think the shot is fantastic, regardless of the camera. If that camera has a 1/2.3" sensor then it's almost unbelievable.

Oh, I've curried and brushed horses before but nobody ever showed me how to composite one. You done good.

Thank you ron I appreciate your comments, and yes the sensor is small, but the camera seems to work well.
As to compositing it is not that hard, try it you may like it. Good shooting RBorud
