And Anvil was talking about vertical landscapes! Perfect example and beautifully taken. I think I would darken the watercourse a bit in the shadow area as the white tends to look slightly odd. Personal taste though, of course.

Thank you for the comment and CC

Its a really nice shot! Composition is key, and you got it all right.

Looks like that leading line goes right up through the trees to the water falls. Great work. Bev

Excellent combination of composition, framing, and exposure. Can you describe your workflow and post processing techniques on it? It's an outstanding image.

Breathtaking scene. Can't imagine a better composition or exposure.

Thank you Andy.

Usually start out in lightroom. Change Profile from default adobe standard. Usually use one I got from Blake Rudis. On with basic tab, hit auto button. Then adjust white/black balance and other sliders till it looks ok. Reduce noise if needed and some sharpening. Rarely ever use tone curve, HSL/color tab. If I do, it is usually to desaturate the blue in the sky. ( I did that on this one) Then I take it into photoshop and do adjustments to the curves and levels, usually on a localized basis. I will do a curves/levels adjustment looking to get one portion of the photo the way I want, applying a black mask and brushing into the part of the photo I want to enhance. Here for example, I used a curves adjustment to darken the image, then only applied it to the bottom portion of the clouds.

Thanks for you question, hope that helps.
