You are taking me back quite a few years. I grew up in NH so I love the picture of Mt Washington and I miss the brilliant fall colors. And my husband had an apartment on Goat Island one winter while he was working in Newport and commuting to our home in KS. It was the coldest apartment but it sure did have a nice view.
I love all three images - the fire is dramatic and a great catch but my favorite is the Newport bridge.

love the fire photo. you say you are a nature photographer trapped in nyc? how about shooting in central park. lots of nature shots there or any of the botanical gardens. also how many federal or state pakrs, nature preserves or wildlife areas are within a couple hours of nyc. plenty of subject matter for you.

Love the Newport shot. And Mt. Washington brings back wonderful memories of a family vacation there.
