Yes, US Navy Chief Petty Officer retired. You will be missing something special if you don't see Yosemite NP. Go early or late in the year to avoid what seems to be bigger crowds every year. I'm glad you liked the photo. I have another one floating around UHH titled "Beautiful Waterfall etc. etc" It's better than this one in my opinion.
