I was very lucky to spend a week in Iceland last Sept.
I had never before taken any waterfall pictures I had been happy with. With all the beautiful falls we saw and after practicing with settings and adjustments and with using a neutral density filter I think I got it! Always room for improvement, but I was kind of happy with these.
Skogafoss
Skogafoss
Seljandsfoss
Svartifoss
Hraunfoss
Kirkjufellfoss with the northern lights
This beauty wass just in the ditch along the road and has no name
part of the no name waterfall
Golfoss

It is wonderful to be able to visit Iceland. My wife and I were able to visit two years ago But never saw all the falls you have captured. Your photos are great, nice job. You were able to see the northern lights in September, Lucky you! We went in November, whole different world! I got some nice photos of Golfoss covered in ice. My Northern Lights photos were ruined by the wind... Thank you for sharing..

I was also there in the winter 3 years ago--very different in the fall.
and yes wind can be an issue any time of year I think
Katherine, It looks like you nailed the falls! Very nice. I really like Kirkjufellfoss with the northern lights, beautiful composition. Great job!
