Which Photo Do You Like Better?

In both images the road leads the eye through the scene, but in pic 2 the emphasis is on the road which takes up half of the image. The problem of the chopped off mountain can be relieved by cropping off the top where the snow line meets the right frame.

It depends on what you want to accentuate. The first accentuates the road the second is overall landscape.
