Kavanaughing: Learning that someone is a despicable sexist liar, and pushing him into one of the most powerful positions in US government anyways.
The Trump tarnishes anything he is involved in. Democrats are standing firm against using government shutdowns as negotiating tools. Because it sets a dangerous precedent for anyone that doesn't care who gets hurt in order to get what they want.
