Sutter Buttes as the tule fog breaks up

After the recent rain storm we got our first dose of the tule fog in the Sacramento Valley. Went over to the buttes and took a few photos as it broke up. The fog never really lifted to the west, but was pretty clear in the buttes and to the east.

Be careful when using a polarizing filter, especially with the wide angle shots. If you leave it on all the time, its easy to forget that its an important setting to consider.
