Thank you, Lesley. I'm glad you enjoyed these images...and,
since you like them so much, I'll send you the other 400 or so
and you can do so PP for me....LOL.

Just kidding; I will get around to them sooner or later.

Well, I finally got a chance to go through a couple more of
the 400+ images from Colonial Williamsburg, and thought
I'd sneak a couple on before midnight for Free Sunday.

These are some of the "interpreters" who do such a wonderful
job of helping to recreate the lifestyle of the 18th century.

As always, thank you so much, Larry, for hosting, and please
know our prayers are still with you for a full and speedy recovery.

Your Williamsburg pics are all bood, but #5 &#6 in this set are great portraiture.

As you continue practicing PP you should maybe tweak those two.

Good job

Thanks for the "Thumbs Up," Jim!

It always amazes me how much research each of these "interpreters"
have to do to learn all they can about the tradesperson they are
portraying.

Thanks, Larry, I really appreciate your comments.

What would you suggest doing in PP? These were originally taken in color,
and I just converted them in Photoshop Elements 2019 to monochrome and
played with the brightness/contrast. I wanted to go with B&W for the 17th
century "feel," but I kind of like some of these as taken:

Excellent character portraits - we really need to pay CW a visit someday.

pg. 20

The lighting really makes the last two stand out and you know I'm a big fan of B&W/sepia.

Sue, thank you so much for the wonderful compliment.

And yes, you do need to visit Colonial Williamsburg. From what I've seen
you post, I just know you would fall in love with the area. One suggestion,
though, is if you go google "Colonial Williamsburg Tickets" to take advantage
of their specials.

They normally have different BOGO offers starting on Good Friday. We opted
for the "annual" ticket as we normally go down twice a year. (There are also
very many factory outlets in the area if you like to shop...lol)

You don't have to buy a ticket, but if you want to explore the "trades" like I
did in these images, you have to have one. Without a ticket, you can still
walk through the area, but without seeing "behind the scenes."

Oh...and a great place to eat? 2nd Street Bistro, but there are many!
