Thanks. Great catch with that white stuff, I never noticed it. Maybe a bugman can tell us it they are eggs. Guess I have to look at my own photos a bit closer.

I see all kinds of stuff in my photos after I've posted them. I try to catch it before but that doesn't always happen.

Yeah, that's especially true when you are in close. After posting you may see tiny parasites, other insects, or, in this case, maybe eggs.

I would go with parasitic fly eggs. If a fungi, beetle would be dead. Fruiting fungi kill host before emerging. Not wasp eggs, they are laid internally. Not lacewings, no stalk. Leaves Tachinid fly eggs.
Caveat, I have been wrong before.
