All of a sudden after taking a few choice pictures yesterday I am now unable to get them out of my camera. The message I get in my computer says;

"Wizard does not reconigze this camera, or something to that efffect."
I have a FUJIFILM S3000 that is about ten years old.

Up until Now I haven't had any throuble saving pictures and placing them on my computer.
I am able to view these pictures while in my camera just can not transfer them to my comouter. HALP- HELP- Help!

Take a look at the FAQ's. Your camera connection is a serial cable which is old stuff, did you recently upgrade your 'puter?

I quickly scanned the FAQ's and it looks like you'll need to download and install a "fix". A good option for you would be to get a card reader for about $10 and use that instead of the camera (less battery use :) )

Good luck :thumbup:

did u try downloading pics from the card in one of the slots in computer. It may work that way! I use a card reader and it s quicker and easier for me then doing it from the camera

Thanks Robert Photo... I have just been able to get a picture by going to /Removable Disc... in my computer...and played around with it. I do plan on getting a reader card too. Hopefully once I get the reader card it will move quicker.

Does your camera connect to your computer, with a cord? If so, you should be able to get them off that way (until you get a card reader).

by any chance when you upgraded did you use a registry cleaner?
they often make unwanted changes to what was a perfectly good machine.
the value in a clean system is often questionable

I bought a Kodak 50 in 1 card reader for five bucks at a local discount store. You plug the memory card in the card reader and the card reader in a USB port and voila. It also works in my flat screen TV.

In my opinion, card readers are the only way to go. Simple and fast!

Yes that is very true...if everything works as planned. But it does not. I have found a way to go around it until I pick up a card reader today. I did delete the pictures and took one inside my office and have saved that one by going into scanner/pictures and into removable disc in 'MY COMPUTER' it is a round about way but it does work for now.

Thank you for your comments.Buddy 36
