Great start, and thanks for hosting this challenge, Kat. I know with all the
"birders" on UHH, you may be in for a record number of responses. I, too,
am looking forward to what everyone shares.

I've only every tried "BIF" images once, as witnessed below. Mediocre
success at best, but it was fun.

Unfortunately, all the other images I have of birds are of those in
captivity....
Tim

I really like 3 & 4! So much goes in to BIF photography and I had no idea until I tried (unsuccessfully for the most part)

Wonderful! So different than what we see in the Midwest US!

I think this series is the only other one that I have
where I was able to capture birds in the wild.

This was a typical August day in 2012 at our favorite
campground, and as I was exploring, I noticed some
movement in the brush; turned out to be a hawk (red
tailed, I think) hovering over it's latest catch.

He/She kept trying to block my view of its capture as
I fired away, so I left it alone for about half an hour and
when I came back, I was able to get some nice close
ups of the gorgeous creature. Hope you enjoy.
Tim

Love the falcon coloring and the light on the snow geese wings!

Here are a few assorted of mine........some from my yard. The Painted Buntings were a treat! I sat outside for days to get the two photos, because they are not something I see every day. I've never seen them again here. I think they migrate through here. The Bluebirds were nesting in my backyard.

Good set.
