Irix lenses, Blackstone vs Firefly

Anyone familiar with/have an opinion on these lenses besides the price difference? Looking at an Irix 15mm f/2.4. Blackstone is aluminum/magnesium, etched. Firefly is ABS plastic, printed. Planning stages of my near-future DSLR kit. Variable shooting weather, desert-mountains. Thinking the Blackstone is the better option.
