I like to find things that are "different" on Netflix. One such show is "Pacific Heat," from Australia. It's an animated series about four special detectives, and it's the type of show that can keep me laughing for most of the half hour. Even if you're Australian, you'll probably want to watch with closed captions because the dialog is very fast, and they talk over each other. It's silly, but it's very funny.

I'll try it, Jerry. Was it you who suggested "The IT Crowd"? If not, try it. It's hilarious.

Haven't seen that one. I find that some of the best TV drama available is made by the Australians. Recently watched Pine Gap and Bad blood. Both are quite good.

Take a look at the series "Glitch." Clever.
I just added Pine Gap to My List on Netflix.
Interesting as an Aussie to see this. I knew Dr Blake and the Miss Fisher murders were very popular ( good choices in my view) but not watched Pine Gap or heard of some of the others. We tend to watch series from Europe such as The Bridge, the Bureau etc which we can get for free on our "SBS on Demand". SBS is a special broadcasting service in many languages started by the govt. in the mid 1980's and it now has morphed into all sorts. It has some great shows but is big on Cycling and Soccer.
800 Words is also a good Aussie series, but set in New Zealand.
