It would have been better for them to just not say anything and stay off the air rather than put on the disastrous show they did.

This is their reaction when they watched the rerun of their speech. No wonder they look so distraught; they really screwed up.

The way I see it, the Dims are opposed to the wall for one simple reason: They know it would work and that would cut off the flow of Dim v**ers.

They did look strange. Obviously, they aren’t gifted performers.

On the other hand, they didn’t outright lie to the nation, as someone else did.

Trump himself looked pretty tense. Formal speeches aren’t his forte, as the informal rally speeches are.

But he lied.

Again.

Still.

Is the man mentally incapable of telling the t***h? Is there nothing of reality in his life?

Summing up: Trump, big failure; absolutely no constructive effect to his cloud of lies.

Democrats, satire on SNL, expecially the huddling.

Final judgement: Trump totally incapable of telling the t***h at any time;

Schumer and Pelosi, humor fodder, not gifted speakers, but holding Trump’s feet to the fire.

When paychecks are missing and tax refunds are questionable, this thing will come to a head, and will end.

Nancy and Chuck spoke slow and meticulously just so the right could understand but that turned out to be a waste of time and effort.

It would have been better to buttress your "argument" with some facts but wh**ever.

The interesting dynamic here is that nobody notices that the government is "shut down." Unlike 0bama who went out of his way to make sure as many people as possible got hurt by the shutdown, Trump is minimizing the impact. The missing paychecks, if and when they occur, will be for people who v**e Dim 90%+. I call that a targeted policy. These people are going to put pressure on "Leader" Chucky and "Speaker" Nancy who still refused to address the issue of border security in their response beyond just a few fluff words.

The government is still taking in taxes, don't use the shutdown to avoid paying your taxes. Or maybe in your case Tadslow, you should try that and let us know how it works out for you.

If the s**t you are smoking is that good, I want some. Seems as though it REALLY distorts reality.

I'm guessing you're choosing to ignore the parks that were closed. I remember when 0bama dispatched people from the park services to fence off open-air parks and monuments around Washington. He spent money to close off areas that were never meant to be closed off. I visited those parks and monuments. They are definitely not meant to be closed, ever. Well except by 0bama.

Probably was.

When you have nothing of value to say, you do come across as dead and they said nothing worthwhile.

I think the facts are clear enough. I disagree that no one notices the government is shut down. Wait until paychecks stop—Friday, I think. Wait until IRS refunds don’t occur.

Trump is merely blundering along—there’s no sophisticated policy here. Trump could not manage that.

He didn’t even know what was going to happen when he shut the govt. down.

Same as with tariffs.

The man is dishonest, incompetent, a s***e to Vladimir Putin, a corrupt man to be bought for Xi, and a plaything for Kim, incapable of telling the t***h, and an absolute dunce in general.
