I do not know what they are, but they are really neat, i have never seen anything like them around here.

Yes teal. They are very difficult to shoot in flight. They fly an eratic path of turns left, right, left etc. Never long on a single straight line. But great fun to watch even if you miss the shot.

Yes they are green winged teals. In flight they have beautiful green markings on the dorsal side of their wings.
