Hundreds of European Starling's dropped dead after a test with the new mobile phone network G5 that was tested out a few weeks ago in the city of Den Haag in the Netherlands , all the birds were examined and they have found brain damage due to the hi frequencies from the network ..More investigation is needed to avoid that this will happen again, so the network is not yet for 100% active..

Wow! What a shame.. this world was created perfect, and man keeps screwing it up. This is just another example of it.....

BTW great shot. I thought maybe the white was ice. But I see it in all the ones in the second pic.. And on download, I see it is white color tips on the feathers.

It is indeed a shame that this happened Frank, and yes all the European Starlings have these little white tips on their feathers....Thanks for viewing and comment..

Very sad how little the companies or governments think about the consequences of their decissions - whether it is a high frequency telephone or a wall of any kind disrupting the animal migration and causing genetic problems.

That's a shame Fons and your photos hit home.We are dogsitting for our eldest daughter and I've been throwing seed out for birds on the front lawn and we've had loads of Starlings stopping by.They are a lovely looking bird.
