Some words for Monday from A.W. Tozer.
True faith is not passive but active.
It requires that we meet certain conditions, that we allow the teachings of Christ to dominate our total lives from the moment we believe.
The man of saving faith must be willing to be different from others.
The effort to enjoy the benefits of redemption while enmeshed in the world is futile.
We must choose one or the other; and faith quickly makes its choice, one from which there is no retreat.
--A.W. Tozer
End quote.
May we be so different from those around us that we can't fit in. May we be bold and willing to confront the world and proclaim the truth of scripture even if we are mocked and ridiculed.
It's impossible to do that when the world can't see the difference in our actions and our words.

Same for Northwestern Montana - they call it "authentic" Mexican, but the stuff tastes like it comes from a can.
