My only point in showing this is to show the lavender flower in the lower left. I didn't want to take the time to use my technical equipment for the flower would wilt. I did use three extension tubes from B&H and that was all. My wife held a bright flashlight real close like 2" and my lens was about 1/2" away. I had to back/forth it to save time before it wilted.
When I put it on the camera and saw the flower so beautiful it has made me want to set my equipment ahead of time and get better photos in the future.
The flower is smaller than the size of sharp pencil-point. I also found the pumpkin shaped seed pod and the small 'star' shaped forms preparing to become seedpods. I began to wonder what kind of a God could make a weed look so small and beautiful.
If you have never taken Macro shots try them now to see what forms of life you'll find that we never knew existed.
For all the micro enthusiasts around I suggest watching 'Microcosmos' by Claude Nuriosany and Marie Perennou on YouTube. This has to be the ultimate in micro. One version shows how they make it. Mostly in a set up in a lab where they can control the environment–plants, creatures and habits in a natural state.
It will cause you to try even more experiments and encourage success.
