I appreciate you looking and your encouraging comments, Linda. We have a Marriott Vacation Club membership and we usually stay at the Marriott nearest to the airport for convenient access to restaurants, shops, etc. As you know, however, the island is not that big. Do you have a favorite place?

My husband likes the Sheraton at Poipu but I really like the Hanalei Colony Resort up north-more quiet and remote. Such a delimma!

Great series! We love Hawaii, especially Kauai. It looks like your room was near Duke's; I've taken many photos from there as well. We own at the MVC Waiohai on Poipu and usually stop at Duke's for lunch on our way there from the airport. We'll be there in July for 10 days (after a week at Ko Olina) and can't wait to get back.
