I got such a wonderful response from my "best surfing photos folder" that I posted, thank you all for that. I decided to post a second batch from the same folder. Here is the link to the first posting:

Thanks so much Mike. That shot was taken at Laguna Beach at sunset with the sun making the wave translucent. It was a magical 15 minutes of shooting.

Yeah, another good reason to photograph from the pier looking down......you can get so close to the subject that great detail can be obtained with wonderful sharpness. Just so you know I enhanced that photo in PP.

Thanks very much. #9 is San Onofre at sunset after a rainstorm. The clouds really enhanced that photo.
