Happy New Year to all UHH members!
Starting off my 2019 on a bad vibe. Lost my SD card from holiday photos. Checked XQD card found them, but apparently did not download photos. Formatted the XQD - no pictures...
Any idea how to retrieve from a Formatted XQD?

Recovery software will get them back. I use Image Rescue from Lexar. There are several others out there, some are free and some you have to buy.

This is very important. If you use the card you may write over the images you wish to recover.

Just work this into your workflow:
Never format the camera card until the images are downloaded, edited, and backed up.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! Used recoverit and the are all there!! Now if I can just figure out how to get into it again to check an SD card that was locked.
