After getting spoiled in FL, I am back home and spent about 25 minutes getting close to this guy today. Fair results, but it was a really well executed plan to get to within about 30 yards before he started to get antsy....

Nice capture. I hate to knock a great shot, but I did notice a halo, particularly against the blue sky. I messed with it a little in Lightroom, but could eliminate. I suspect it is post-processing artifact, perhaps from sharpening. You might want to go back to your original image and see if you can't remove in Lightroom or Photoshop.
