As stated I will try one more--this one I tried to look at light and contrast with just the "New eye" so it looks OK to me. Your comments are still valid and appreciated.
Nicely done, love the ring on the finger! It is weird, I looked at this and my mind went directly to the work of Hans Bellmer, Le Puppet.
"was a German artist, best known for the life-sized pubescent female dolls he produced in the mid-1930s. Historians of art and photography also consider him a Surrealist photographer."

I really liked the ring as well. But, truth be told, it is a happy accident. When I mentioned it later in the shoot she immediately took it off. Never heard of Bellmer nor looked at any of his work--probably because I was in Biology and not art. Thanks for an interesting new avenue.
Glad I could help.
I was in my early days involved with Marine Biology but got tugged in another direction. Still, if I ever return to the great Elkhorn Slew outside San Francisco I bet I will go at low tide to shuffle along until I trip over a Tethes Californicus (the common name is a sea hare).

I think the ring adds to the nicely presented image
Very intriguing idea and composition. I did a test on it and was surprised to find that the white point was so dark that not even your white stroke around the pic was white. I tend to think that this pic would benefit from being a high key toned picture as opposed to being low key. As low key the skin shows up too blotchy. With high key it would be a bit more glamorous. just my opinion.
Good point. Partly because of my cataracts I have the brightness turned up higher on my monitor. Which makes some of the pictures posted look way to bright on my monitor. I do not have any software to use to balance my monitor so I just try to visualize how it should look to me. Hopefully in a few weeks when all the cataract issues are resolved I'll be seeing a little better what others are seeing. But, yes, the white point should be at least Zone 9. Thanks--I have to be more analytic and less "by feel."
