NYC and its Government employees are predominatly loyal Democratic Party members and they are ONLY responding accordingly to its "Government Rules" phylosiphy....

Do you mean that there's something wrong with that outlook ???

Ouch...a $9,000 camera and $18,000 in gear. Wonder how close he'd gotten to the action to have his camera "strike an officer?" Freedoms. Being lost every day in this nation. Thanks for the post.

Here we go again. Being tried in the newspaper by the public instead of a judge and jury.

NONE of the facts in this case have been brought before a court of law. None of us, the Times, or any of UHH members know what really happened since we weren't there. You never know what the journalist might have done or said to the police. You don't know why the police asked him to leave or how he was asked to leave. It's all public speculation.

One only has to have personal experiance in any news situation - then read it in the papers to know how journalism really messes with the facts.
Seen it too many times.
Failure to obay a police officer will Pi## them off every time especialy if they are having a tough time already & arresting females is not a pleasant job some times they are the hardest to deal with - if there were no police women there it made it more difficult for them.

I used to give the benefit of doubt to the cops without reservations, now I have reversed that. There are too many accounts of brutal, unlawful, disgusting intimidation and general hooliganism practiced by the cops especially in the context of them getting filmed. I no longer assume they, the cops, are innocent until proven guilty but the exact opposite. Enough is enough but I have a feeling we'll see more of it not less until some these bad apples are put in cages where they belong.
