As anyone participated in this photography challenge and if so, did you think it was a worthwhile exercise?

What's more you have to give two critiques each week using the "sandwich" method (something good followed by what's wrong with the photo and closing with encouragement).
Linda, you seem to be an excellent critiquer, but for me it's a struggle.

Oh, I didn't read about the critique requirement. It's a great idea, but - your lovely compliment notwithstanding - I often struggle with what to say and how to say it. Nothing to do with attempting to be kind or gentle, just being able to process what I see into some kind of coherent sentence or two
There are many folks on UHH far better at that than I. Some of that has to do with education in art, which I lack.
I can see where that requirement, combined with it being for a full year, could be daunting. But you could always do the suggestions on your own and post to UHH for critique.
