oh thats ok ...but thanks for the compliment!
I just found what my photo #2 bug is!!
It's a hummingbird clearwing moth!!
Nice shot of a Widow Skimmer, Libellula luctuosa, as well as the other images. Looks like a great place to take a walk with your camera, I'm envious.

I would guess #2 might be a hummingbird moth. Not sure.
Your are right, it is a Hummingbird Moth
I was thinking HUMMIMGBIRD MOTH! I once chased one all over the grounds of the White Palace in Yalta, Crimea thinking I had found the worlds smallest hummingbird. After taking almost whole roll of pictures (back in the film days!!) I FINALLY got one clear enough after developing that I looked at the pic and thought ...it's a BUG! Then I had to research and find out hummingbird moths even existed! Love your pics - and Morton IS a beautiful place for taking pics of nature!
Love the first one.... Hoping to spend some time there soon.
Also Botanic Gardens....
And of course Busse woods.... :D
Many Photo ops around here for sure.
Number2 is a clear wing moth. They look like hummingbirds when around flowers.
