Look at history and youll see that the Dems fix the deficit every time they took power from the pubs.

As a general principal (and you can confirm this by looking at the data) Democrats spend more money but raise taxes to cover the increase while Republicans spend more money but being terrified of raising taxes, will only increase the deficit.

To Lww- if Tax hikes lower revenue, then lowering taxes should raise revenue - yes? How about the recent tax bill which raises the debt 1.5 trillion by lowering revenue?
