One cataract out--one to go so have no idea how bright this will look to others. Please let me know! Of course other thoughts are welcome too.
When I looked at this photo first thought was she is all "Tied in Knots." very interesting pose. Brightness and shades of gray look fine.
"Tied in Knots." To make oneself confused, anxious, worried, and/or upset, as when trying to make a decision, come up with an idea, or resolve an issue. Usage example: Now don't go tying yourself in knots over the details of your papers — at this point, all you need is a cohesive outline.

Thanks! I actually (and astonishingly) told a number of models to "tie your self in a knot" and made a series. I'll post some others as I find them.

Hard to figure whether the left are is hers or someone else's - good shot!
I just had my final cateract removed. Look fantastic to me. Never realized how bright everything has become.
I prefer a lighter skin tone, thanks!
Good idea and composition isn't bad but more sculptural lighting as opposed to flat would help I think.
I also think you could mostly achieve that in post with a judicial use of Curves.
You must be studying Weston or Bernhard nudes as the abstract quality of it is very close to their nudes.
Thanks. At first I thought "Nah, I don't agree, its the way I want it." Then tried an experiment--looked at it with just the eye that still has a cataract--it looked great (at least on my display) Nice velvety blacks, etc. Then covered that eye to look only with the eye with the brand new clear glass lens. WOW, not a single BLACK other than the margin frame! You are exactly right!!! Geeeez have I got a lot of pictures to redo once the other eye is done!! I'll keep posting though and try to look first with the good eye only. Thank-you so much!

Hadn't really thought of that but I look at lots and lots of photographers stuff so you are probably right--I hope to gain something from who ever I look at. Don't want to copy, but being affected by the great ones is good. Thanks, it's a complement.
