Does anyone have a program they would recommend to use to make a photo CD? I am using Cyberlink Power 2 Go 11 and it is frustrating. One particular photo is being rotated to the right. It has put the f-stop, iso, exposure time and other info on each photo. The ability to set the duration each photo is shown is not to be found...very frustrating. I have 80 photos of an event. Any suggestion anyone has is greatly appreciated!!!!! Making a photo CD only happens once a year so an expensive program would not be justifyable.

If you have some software that creates slideshows, then use it to create a slideshow with duration and whatever else you want. Then burn it to CD. I do this from Lightroom and put 'em on flash drives for customers.

I use Pro Show Gold. An excellent program. I then burn the end results to a DVD and/or place it on a a flash drive.

Nero. It does a lot of audio editing and burns both dvd and cds. Works well. Pro Show for slide shows.

I bought a copy of Pinnacle Studio 21 and it is extremely easy to use. It has many options on transition styles and voice over or music as a background. I don't know the others available but I would recommend this software.

I've used Irfanview for many years, and it's free.

I also use Pinnacle 21, great easy to use software which has tons of preset assets to do text, transitions, etc.

Talk to a local funeral home. As far as I know all of them are using software that allows them to make CD's from pictures that relatives bring in. They allow special effects, music etc. Look before you buy.

I use Powerpoint and have been very satisfied with the results. You have control over just about everything.

Appears to be for windows OS only and I use MAC. Appears to edit photos but I don't see where it creates photo CDs as the OP wants to do.

I agree with Pro Show, it allows you to add music too, and the transitions are wonderful when the slideshow is complete. And you can also add video to your slideshow if you need to.

Yes, it is a very competent program with a lot of features, but it is a bit pricey. Not something you would want for a one-shot deal.

I agree on a bit pricey, but this was just a suggestion for a good software before buying others. If I can find an affordable or even free software, I will post it here. Happy New Year!

For the past 13+ years, I've used Pro Show Gold. Excellent program and tech support.
