Two of the oldest NFL Franchises, the Detroit Lions and the Cleveland Browns, have never been to a Superbowl. Notice the word "never."

As a Jets fan I have only a passing interest in the rest of the NFL season. No real favorite, just like to see good games but would like to see a Bears/Chiefs or Saints/Chargers Super Bowl.
Actually, now that I think about it, any Super Bowl NOT involving NE is acceptable unless of course they get there and LOSE again๐Ÿ˜Š
Better to get there and lose than to not get there at all.

The original Browns, AKA Ravens have in fact won the SB.

The new Browns are a very recent franchise and not the original Paul Brown franchise.

I am curious to see which Seahawk team shows up in Dallas next Saturday. Three games back they were awful against the 49ers, played terrific the next week at home against the Chiefs and then looked horrible at times yesterday against the Cardinals. They seem to play to the level of the competition. But regardless, Go Hawks!

Whats the NFL? Supporting a bunch of unpatriotic whiners? Maybe something with more excitement like curling will replace all NFL events? LOL
Have found it easier and much more exciting viewing almost any college level sporting event compared to any NFL game. NFL is no longer a viewing choice in our house and we love it.

The New Browns were a delayed version of the old. Owner Art Modell, who owned the Cleveland Browns, wanted the name to go along to Baltimore, and wanted to call them the Baltimore Browns. The City of Cleveland said you can steal the team. Never the Browns name. The Baltimore Ravens have won the Superbowl twice since they left Cleveland. And no, Cleveland would never give them credit for a Superbowl under the name Browns, just the Ravens. Only as the Ravens. The New Browns are simply the Browns.

The Arizona Cardinals were very consistent this year.

The Regular NFL Season is over. The home team Chicago Bears are in to play against Philadelphia. Seattle to play Dallas in Dallas. San Diego Chargers travel to Baltimore. The Top Division Winners in the NFC get a first round Bye. New Orleans and the LA Rams. In the AFC, the New England Patriots and Kansas City get Byes for the first week. Indianapolis Colts will visit the Houston Texans. Pittsburgh didn't get invited to the dance. They are out. The coaches for the New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have already been fired. More are likely to be fired. Green Bay is interested in interviewing College Head Coach Fitzgerald from Northwestern University in Illinois. Interesting? My friend says the Chicago Bears will win the Superbowl in February 2019. Some ESPN Commentators agree also. But, never count out the New England Patriots? No, I am not a Patriots fan. I just respect them. They have 5 Superbowl Championships in 8 appearances. That's impressive.
The Regular NFL Season is over. The home team Chic... (show quote)

The Cincinnati Bengals finally fired Marvin Lewis. The Cleveland Browns fired their interim coach, who in my opinion, did a good job after Hue Jackson was fired. The most attractive opening is the head coaching job at Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers has a Superbowl Ring, and is in the NFL top five quarterback category.

Care to explain what happened to green bay this year , could it be the other 10 players on the field are tired of Mr. rogers ?

The Washington Redskins finally drop offensive name :

Dan Snyder, owner of the NFL Redskins, has announced that the team is dropping "Washington" from the team name, and it will henceforth be simply known as, "The Redskins." It was reported that he finds the word "Washington" imparts a negative image of poor leadership, mismanagement, corruption, cheating, lying, and graft, and is not a fitting role-model for young fans of football.

I totally agree with Mr. Snyder, especially since trump arrived.

One might assign those characteristics listed to the likes of Pelosi & Schumer & Booker & Warren & Harris & Watters.
