Put an 8 oz 100mm f2.8 "E" lens on my D750 & went for a walk on a balmy (58 degrees) evening along the Erie Canal towpath. Very warm for late December, was pleasantly surprised to find a great blue heron along the banks, also enjoying the evening, catching a meal. (Not sure what he does when it is zero degrees, icy/snowy/windy, but I'm usually snug in my living room by the fireplace in those conditions.) I was focusing on the sumac, when the sun came out of the clouds and lit up the distant forest. I shoot .jpeg to one card, RAW to the other. These uploads are .jpegs, unmanipulated, but slightly cropped to around 1mb files for quicker uploading. If I ever want to do more with my photos, at least I have them all in the RAW back-up folder.
Great shots! I love old glass.

Very nicely done images with particularly great color rendering. Bravo.
