This is a shot taken from a hill overlooking the landscape from the Scottish village in Nova Scotia. In the original image, there was a fence running from left to right in the foreground. It was an interesting feature, but because it was running across, down, as well as back, I felt it distracted and so took this into PS to eliminate it. The only thing I am confident of is that this fits the definition of a landscape lol. (I don't remember if I changed the upload setting to srb). Comments and corrections are always welcome.
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing negative about this landscape. You've got the patience to capture the richness, color and beauty of this area. The only thing missing is a fella or two with bagpipes. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! What a beautiful shot, the foreground, the cloud cover, and the water all came together for you. Good camera work. Ken
A really lovely scene. The sun hitting the side of the house draws our attention immediately and then we can enjoy a leisurely stroll about the countryside. Exif is missing; what focal length on what camera, please?
This is a really lovely scene. It's quite peaceful and pleasing. I did a virtual crop taking off a bit of the expanse of foreground. It was different - not better, just different.
Beautiful image and wonderful lighting. My only suggestion would be to see if there was some way to reduce the blown highlights in a portion of the clouds. I know it can be done with a few tweaks in PP, and I find that one portion of the image distracting. Other than that, good on ya, mate!

I did an edit similar to what you did, where the height of the foreground to the left was equal to the mid ground to the right. Judging from the responses, I got more right than wrong and that makes me happy! Thanks so much.
